Search function should include Pinyin. Voice recognition still poor. I like simplicity.

Really useful for the kids in my Chinese school.

If there is more fun, kids may love it more. Difficult to use for foreigners.

Great program and it has all the right books. Im an adult and Im using these books to learn Chinese. One thing, it would be great to have the sounds play automatically as an option.

Am using for my own Chinese study and may try using for my kids to reinforce their study in Chinese school. Would only suggest make pinyin optional, make the characters removable after mastering them, and put the phrases under Info in pinyin.

Dont pay $2.99 for the full version. Youll get the additional characters for a few weeks, then the app will magically turn back into the free version.

Paid $2.99 for updating to paid full version，now automaticly return back to free version and ask to pay $2.99 for update again!

This is a great app for learning chinese characters. We especially like the search function by letter and voice, basically useful as a dictionary. I lost the paid content after one version upgrade. On one of the websites, the developer mentioned you can re-purchase but wont get charged. I took a gamble and it worked. Good luck to those who suffered the same situation.

Have an option to turn off or on pinyin in ＂写汉字＂ 和 ＂小学语文生字＂。对母语非中文的孩子学中文，如果汉字有拼音，认读不困难。对学过的字，没有注拼音，很多就不认识了。现在海外逐渐流行直接认读汉字。在拼音或者注音符号出现以前，中国人就是一直直接认字的。效果一样很好。直接认字，认得了，就真的学会了。拼音对学读生字有帮助。
